Strawberries!

Sophia loves strawberries -- and fortunately we planted quite a few last year. Instead of running for her swing she now runs to the strawberry patch and gasps excitedly -- as if she's surprised they haven't disappeared. Tuesday evening Keith could hardly pick the berries fast enough for Sophia to eat them.

Time to swim!

Sophia's aunt and uncles gave her an inflatable whale swimming pool for her birthday -- last Thursday we filled it up. Sophia had a blast! She took a little while to decide it was okay to sit, but then she began splashing like crazy. I'm sure we'll be spending plenty of time in the pool this summer!

Mommy's Helper

Sophia loves helping her parents (especially emptying clothes baskets and unfolding clean laundry) and copying our actions.  Today I was putting dishes away and turned around to find Sophia taking her clean clothes from the laundry basket and putting them away.  Wrong room, wrong shelf, but right idea.
