We started Fourth of July with a boat ride. We toured the lake and went down to the dam (where all the brave people jumped into the cold water -- myself not included), enjoying the scenery all the way. Sophia enjoyed staring at the waves behind us as well as trying to keep her eyes open as the wind blew in her face.
Ready to drive the boat....
On the way back, Sophia tried desperately to stay awake -- she was standing up and falling asleep at the same time. Eventually she gave in and fell asleep in my arms.
When we got back to the house, we managed to take off the life jacket, change her diaper, and lay her down -- all while she stayed fast asleep. We had a great time in Arkansas -- and so did Sophia!
wow this is really out of date!!
